Invoice finance specialist Optimum Finance needed an agency that could perform an in-house marketing function spanning social media, media relations, lead-generating marketing campaigns, asset design, thought leadership articles and case study generation as well as stand-alone projects such as the project management of a brand-new website.
Purplefish was appointed in 2018 and quickly set to work on embedding ourselves into the team across all functions. This allowed us to act autonomously as far as possible to ease the burden on the Optimum Finance senior team and form an efficient workstream for best results. Our media relations programme was targeted at business / SME focused titles, as well as the finance and fintech trade press. Monthly activity included press releases announcing company news, by-lined articles, feature comments and interviews with Optimum’s senior team. Social media activity included high impact LinkedIn Sales Navigator campaigns to boost leads and new introductions to support the sales function.
In 2020, we project managed the development of Optimum Finance’s new website, drafting the copy, briefing in creative and outsourcing development.
A total of 85 pieces of coverage were achieved in 2020, with a total combined reach of 6,197,008.
